Getting ready for a tradeshow requires a lot of planning and preparation and when you are preparing for the fairs when you are already running your retail product business, it can be quite a challenge!
You don’t want your investment to turn into a major expense which may or may not pay off later.
It’s not a chance you want to take – because you haven’t set aside the time to PLAN.
If you have previously done the tradeshow – the best place to start is to evaluate your performance and look at the key metrics for the previous show to set your goals for the next show.
If you are new to tradeshows and this is your first time, it doesn’t have to be guess work! Infact – I really don’t recommend this. There are other ways you can plan your goals and one of them is by doing your competitor research..
In fact, it will be your best friend whether you are exhibiting for the first time or the 50th time!
Gaining a deep understanding of THE MARKET in which you want to POSITION your brand in and DEVELOP a clear understanding of WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE in that space will help you to clearly understand what differentiates you from everyone else and you can USE the information that you gather to help you stand out and attract the right retailers and have the right conversations at the show.
Whether it’s your first time or you are a tradeshow veteran…
