Hi, I’m Ami. Retail buyer turned business consultant, passionate about product and obsessed with teaching retail product brands the BIG business skills to start, grow and scale.

 

My corporate buying career spans almost 18 years and during that time I have been responsible for building, launching and successfully growing high street retail brands – It literally sucks when I think about how much time I’ve spent making £millions for someone else – but we won’t talk about my blood-sucking career here, and of course, it goes without saying that I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for my experience!  

 

I left my corporate career in 2015 to embark on my own entrepreneurial journey and launched a niche fashion brand.  I found myself spending A LOT of time collaborating with wonderful fellow small businesses, whom I naturally shared my retail experience with and found myself giving regular advice…after all, retail was my ‘thing’ and so, of course, they saw me as a bit of an expert!  

 

The philanthropist in me LOVED every minute of empowering my fellow small business friends with my knowledge and seeing them implementing my advice in their businesses and making big leaps with it.

 

Fast forward three years, in what felt like a natural progression, my small retail business consultancy was born and I started teaching retail brands the BIG retail business skills that they just wouldn’t know unless they had spent some time inside a retail buying office!    

 

During my corporate career, I’ve been pitched to thousands of times, built lots profitable product strategies for retailers of all sizes and launched many new retail brands to market.  So, with ALL that knowledge, I know first-hand exactly what it takes to get your products into retailers and most importantly what retail buyers look for in a new product which led me to create my signature program Scale with Wholesale®
